Regional Destination
One app-native Southeast Tennessee home spanning the region’s counties and priority travel corridors.

An app-native regional build that makes it easier to find, plan, and extend trips across rural communities. It creates more reasons to stay longer, explore farther, and spend locally.
SETTA receives a connected regional build that brings the territory together through curated discovery, practical trip planning, and locally grounded visitor tools, rather than a loose collection of individual assets.
One app-native Southeast Tennessee home spanning the region’s counties and priority travel corridors.
Connected discovery for local food, lodging, heritage, waterways, and outdoor recreation.
Practical routes and planning context that turn destination interest into feasible visitor journeys.
SETTA CONTENT ACCESS: All Southeast Tennessee content delivered under this agreement is available to users at no charge.
XPLR GUIDE gives SETTA a durable, app-native way to make rural communities, local businesses, lodging, and high-intent outdoor experiences easier to find, credible to plan, and simple to connect.
Chattanooga is a powerful reason to arrive. The regional opportunity is helping visitors turn a whitewater day into a Copper Basin overnight, a cave concert into a Sequatchie Valley weekend, or a Hiwassee float into a local meal and a second day. XPLR GUIDE provides the planning layer that makes those connections visible and useful.
Make every anchor experience work harder for the region around it.

The region is organized around journeys visitors can genuinely combine, not simply the county lines they cross.

FIELD NOTE / GATEWAY, NOT THE ENDPOINTXPLR GUIDE is not a tourism directory or a fleeting social feed. It is a high-trust system that gives people the confidence to decide where to go and how to experience a place well.

A Southeast Tennessee entry point that connects map-led discovery, seasonal guidance, priority routes, and practical planning context.
Useful recommendations with current operating details, action links, media provenance, and a clear editorial reason to belong.
Interest-led collections that give visitors a practical way into the region, from waterways and lodging to food and heritage.
Sequenced journeys with real timing, food and lodging choices, booking notes, day-of conditions, and thoughtful backups.

Curated by XPLR GUIDE. Built around practical utility and editorial judgment, not pay-to-rank placement.
XPLR GUIDE is the curated app experience. XPLR.NASH is the team that brings the guide to market: translating product standards into place-specific discovery, credible planning resources, and a regional experience people can actually use.

A high-trust guide for turning local knowledge into useful places, lists, itineraries, and connected regional discovery.
XPLR.NASH
Regional storytellers and builders who shape the local research, visual production, partner inputs, and editorial work that make the XPLR GUIDE experience feel grounded in place. They reach people who actively use local guidance to make plans.
XPLR GUIDE remains the editorial authority for what appears in the app. XPLR.NASH turns that standard into a durable, local market experience.
A 12-month product-growth goal following public launch. This is an internal XPLR GUIDE KPI, not a SETTA contractual deliverable or performance guarantee.

The regional build begins with the biggest opportunity: the visitor journeys, places, and planning resources most likely to help people explore more of Southeast Tennessee. We then use visitor flow, feasible routes, local readiness, budget, timeline, and team capacity to recommend the right content and production mix.
Map visitor journeys, regional gaps, corridor relationships, and the decisions the first release has to solve.
Normalize candidates, confirm practical details, establish location metadata, and source appropriate visual assets.
Build the regional hub, places, lists, and itineraries so one discovery can become a complete trip.
Publish in controlled waves, establish refresh standards, and evaluate aggregate utility signals over time.
Scale the work where it creates the greatest opportunity for rural discovery, longer stays, and practical visitor decisions.
Each layer is built around the information visitors need to make confident plans: useful recommendations, current source-dated details, clear action links, and practical context.
Waterway guides link visitors to relevant release, condition, access, and weather sources so they can check current safety information before heading out. A future XPLR GUIDE update will bring live waterway conditions directly into the app.
There is no pay-to-rank. Partners can help with factual corrections and assets, but XPLR GUIDE retains final editorial authority.
Heritage with care. Cherokee history, Trail of Tears interpretation, coal-mining heritage, and the Whitwell Children’s Holocaust Memorial are approached with authoritative sources, respectful language, and appropriate permissions.
